On May 18, 1980, Lambda Alpha Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered. In the formative year, Brothers Richard Brown, Wilbert K. Brown, Wendell L. Duggins, Clifford Durden, Charles F. Fletcher, Walter Hughes, R. Ishman Mitchell, Virgil C. Norris, and Lannoris E. Rosier, did much to get our beloved chapter on solid foundation.

Over the past 20 years, Lambda Alpha Alpha Chapter has donated over 35,000.00 in direct scholarship dollars to over 60 local high school students.

In addition, the chapter also sponsors annual events such as Easter Egg hunt for under privileged children in conjunction with the division of Health and Rehab Services, Toys for Tots, Thanksgiving basket, MLK day track and field events, Talent pageant and a Brain Bowl team to name just a few.
